Estimates and Quotes
Consumable Fee
A flat £5.99 consumable fee is applied to all repair bookings, this fee may also be added to a diagnostics booking should consumables be used.
This fee covers brake cleaner, disposable PPE, penetrating oils (WD40), grease etc. This fee can be subject to change for out of hours call-outs or more complex repairs. You as a customer will be informed and requested for authorisation if this is the case.
Estimates and Quotes
When a price is requested by a customer for a repair, we will only provide an estimate for the repair if we have not previously inspected or diagnosed the vehicle. This is because the vehicle may have further issues such as corrosion which requires additional work.
If the vehicle has already been inspected/diagnosed by us, we will then provide you with fixed priced quote for any repairs which we plan on doing.
Call-out fee
During standard business operating hours, our minimum call-out fee is £120.00 within a 10 mile radius of EX47BY. Outside of this radius, an additional £1.50 per mile will be charged to the repair.
The first hour of labour is included with the call-out fee. This can include a 1 hour diagnostic including an error code scan, checking live data, electrical wiring testing and/or a visual inspection of components.
Labour Rate
During normal business hours, our standard labour rate is £70.00 per hour. This billed in 0.5hr increments.
For out of hours repairs, complex repairs and diagnostics, we reserve the right to change the standard call-out fee and labour rates.
Additional Charges
We reserve the right to pass on additional costs incurred to us by to our customers. These can include, but are not limited to, hazardous waste disposal, specialist outsourced machining and fabrication services or pay by hour/day access to manufacturer software portals where information is not available to our standard software.
Any and all additional charges will be made known to the customer before the additional work is done, and you as the customer has the right to refuse the additional work done.
